Associate Financial Analyst – Autozone Job Application

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting and supporting the needs of the HR Functional Area, including day to day activities related to financial reporting, financial planning and analyses, budgeting and forecasting and implementation of financial concepts and processes. Also responsible for responding to ad hoc requests and daily interactions with the HR and broader finance functional areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides information and reports to business partners as needed to drive the business and make sound financial business decisions
  • Tracks and analyzes functional area invoices and vendor payment data
  • Perform month end, period close, quarter close, and year end close and all daily tasks that go into accomplishing those functions
  • Performs journal entries and reconciliations for functional area accounts
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Creates and maintains process documentation
  • Creates and maintains financial reports, summary ledgers, and layouts
  • Detects, trouble-shoots, and resolves system issues affecting financial reporting and system performance
  • Supports continuous improvement through automation, system configuration, upgrades and integration
  • Cross train with other member of the team on critical report processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of excel and database usage
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • 1 Year of Experience or recent graduate with experience
  • Able to prioritize and manage time wisely while handling multiple projects and deadlines and have attention to detail
  • Master’s Degree, CPA or CPA eligible a plus
