Job Description:

Use your knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the worlds most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywells next generation of aircraft brake system products by designing, testing and/or validating new products/process from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs. Job Responsibilities:

  • Test fixture design & fabrication, HW & SW
  • Data analytics of fielded product performance
  • Oral and written communication of analytic results and creation of formal reports
  • Software algorithm development/HW validation using software/hardware-in-the-loop approach
  • Identify areas for product improvement
  • Troubleshooting, debug, and root cause analysis
  • Apply prescriptive methodology to project tasks
  • Component requirement analysis and system integration
  • Execute project tasks
  • Prepare or update reports and documentation based on product testing
  • Advanced Product Concept R&D/New Product Introduction
  • Product validation and troubleshooting in laboratory environment
  • Collaborate within cross functional engineering team environment
  • Assist in translating customer requirements into new products/features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a US Citizen, No Dual Citizenship due to Contractual Requirements

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience with analysis Tools MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, Data Loggers
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done and do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
  • Clear and concise communications
  • Electrical Engineering with a dual major or minor in Mechanical Engineering a plus
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes
  • Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
  • Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on given project tasks
  • Ability to aggregate and analyze large complex data sets
